Mandera residents get new water pan

The Water Resources Authority (WRA) team in Mandera has handed over a newly established water pan site in Bambaula, Mandera South Sub-County, under the Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project.
The intervention is set to improve access to water for households and livestock, strengthen the community’s resilience to drought, and support sustainable livelihoods.
The beneficiary community received the project with great enthusiasm and appreciation, reflecting a strong sense of ownership and commitment to its sustainability.
This milestone marks another important step towards building water-secure, climate-resilient, and sustainable communities in the region.
The project is themed Securing Water Resources and Safeguarding Our Future.
