NYEWASCO shines at Central Kenya ASK show with five awards
Nyeri Water and Sewerage Company (NYEWASCO) has won five awards at the Central Kenya ASK Show held at the Kabiruini Grounds in Nyeri.
The recognition highlights NYEWASCO’s continued efforts to provide quality water and sanitation services while promoting sustainable practices and meaningful engagement with the community, the company says.
NYEWASCO emerged 1st Place for the Best Stand in Water and Wastewater Services, recognising its role in delivering essential water and sanitation solutions. The Company also secured 1st Place for the Best Stand Demonstrating the Application of Environmental Quality Standards, underscoring its commitment to environmental protection and responsible service delivery.
Adding to the accolades, NYEWASCO took 1st Place for the Best Stand Interpreting the Current Show Theme, Non-Agro Based, demonstrating its ability to effectively communicate its mandate and connect its work to the broader objectives of the agricultural and development exhibition.
The Company further earned 2nd Place for the Best Organisation/Association in Community Projects Service Stand, reflecting its commitment to initiatives that positively impact the communities it serves.
Rounding off the impressive performance was a 3rd Place award in the Energy Services and Conservation Sector Stand, recognising NYEWASCO’s efforts in promoting energy efficiency and conservation.
