Lake Victoria North Water opens six senior vacancies

Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency (LVNWWDA) has announced six senior management, finance, accounting, infrastructure, planning, environmental, and social safeguards job opportunities. The vacancies provide qualified professionals with an opportunity to contribute to the development and management of water and sanitation infrastructure in Western Kenya.

Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency is one of the nine Water Works Development Agencies established under the Water Act, 2016. The agencies were established as part of reforms in Kenya’s water sector through a gazette notice dated April 28, 2019, and in accordance with the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

The Agency is mandated to manage the custody and care of water and sanitation works within six counties: Vihiga, Kakamega, Nandi, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, and Busia.

To strengthen its capacity to fulfil this mandate, LVNWWDA is seeking competent, results-oriented, visionary, and experienced professionals to fill six positions. The available opportunities include Director, Infrastructure Development; Deputy Director, Water Works Infrastructure Planning and Design; Deputy Director, Environment and Social Safeguards; Deputy Director, Planning and Resource Mobilization; Principal Finance and Accounts Officer; and Senior Finance and Accounts Officer.

Each vacancy has one available position. The Director position will be offered on a contract, while the other five positions are permanent and pensionable.
